Webinar: Automated Lipid Nanoparticle Formulation Library Generation for Vaccine Development

Vaccines are an important part of human welfare and healthcare globally. This has been demonstrated with the on-going Covid-19 pandemic, which has impacted every individual in some way. There is now a clear need to develop, validate and manufacture vaccines in months rather than years. Promising technologies such as mRNA vaccines have shown great efficacy in targeting infectious diseases. However, in most cases, a bottleneck remains in encapsulating the biotherapeutic for safe and effective delivery.

Dolomite's ANP System helps streamline your vaccine research and development.

Liposomes or lipid nanoparticles (LNP) are attractive delivery vehicles for biotherapeutics since they resemble the structure of human biological membranes. Although there are liposomal vaccines currently on the market, the process to develop a suitable formulation for a specific biotherapeutic can be laborious, costly and time-consuming. The development pipeline is further exacerbated by the lack of automation technology available for building formulation libraries for subsequent screening. Dolomite’s new Automated Nanoparticle System (ANP) tackles this.

About the webinar

This free webinar will explore the ways Dolomite’s news Automated Nanoparticle System will help streamline your vaccine research and development. There will be a live demo during the webinar so you will get the chance to see the system in action, as well as being able to ask any questions you may have.

Dr Gurinder Vinner

Presenter Bio: Dr Gurinder Vinner – Research & Development Scientist

Gurinder’s interest in phages led her to pursue a PhD at Loughborough University. Her aim was to develop a novel Formulation for the encapsulation of pages to be delivered in the lower gastrointestinal tract. During her successful endeavours as a research student, she picked up key skills in microfluidics. She then worked as a post-doc at the University of Leicester, developing formulations for phages to be incorporated in feed for swine and poultry, with aim to control the carriage of salmonella in the food chain and improve farm to fork safety .
