Dolomite's Standard Range of Microfluidic Chips

Dolomite offers a suite of standard (Mitos) microfluidic chips to help you evaluate your microfluidic concepts quickly and accelerate your time to market. This Suite has been designed to provide both a convenient starting point for those new to microfluidics, as well as, a range of useful tools for the more experienced.

Microfluidic Chips

Dolomite's microfluidic chips provide channel networks with geometries of interest to a wide variety of markets. Fabricated in glass or fused silica, these chips are particularly suitable for applications where reusability, chemical compatibility, optical transparency and thermal characteristics are important.

For applications requiring hydrophobic fluidic channels, surface modified versions of the chips can be provided. To facilitate integration with external fluidic networks, these chips can be used with one of Dolomite's standard interconnects.

The Mitos T-Junction Chip is a glass microfluidic device designed for a range of applications including mixing fluids, microreactions and droplet formation.

The chip is supplied with a chip header which allows connection to the Dolomite Edge Connector (part number 3000024).

The Mitos Thin Layer T-Junction Chip is a glass microfluidic device that has an ultra thin 150 µm base layer for high magnification microscopy applications.

The microfluidic chip is supplied with a chip header. The header allows connection to the Dolomite 4-way Edge Connector (part number 3000024).

The Droplet Generator Chip is designed for generating droplets made up of one, two or three reagents. Applications include monodispersed droplet formation, emulsion formation and Janus particle formation.

It is supplied with a location pin allowing connection to the Mitos Circular Connector (3000051).

The main application is solution phase chemistry experiments including compound synthesis and reaction kinetics studies. The chips can be supplied with a chip holder and header to allow quick connection of fluid pipes.
